A Miracle for Ten Lives Club at the Transit Hill Plaza

As many of you know, last year Ten Lives Club was forced to leave our beloved Eastern Hills Mall adoption location. A location that helped thousands of cats find their forever homes.

We could not disappoint our cats who rely on us to find their forever homes so we went on a mission to find a new adoption home and finally settled down at Ten Lives Club at Transit Hill Plaza.

Unfortunately now, we might have to shut it down.

Being a nonprofit, we have to be very responsible with our donations. Taking in 3,000+ cats a year is very costly no matter how many fundraisers we do. We have to keep doing them because that’s what allows us to continue our operations.

Ten Lives Club at Transit Hill Plaza has been very successful in adoptions thanks to our dedicated staff who work there and our amazing adopters but it’s very costly to operate. The cost puts Ten Lives Club in the negative even with adoptions because we were grandfathered into the rent at the Eastern Hills Mall. It was so inexpensive there that we made money operating there, even with having to pay rent and employees.

Every month Ten Lives Club has to pay the following to operate our Transit Hill Plaza location:

Rent: $2,300

Salary: $5,200

Payroll Taxes: $900

Utilities: $1,500

Supplies: $3,200

Insurance: $1,100

Close to $15,000 a month is needed to operate this location. We simply do not have this in our budget no matter how much fundraising we do.

We are now asking the community and businesses m to help by sponsoring our location or helping us raise the funds to keep it going in 2025. Every dollar raised for this specific location will go to keeping this location.
